What do I need to have to be able to use Fotocodex?
1) A broadband or ADSL Internet connection
2) Web browser: IE 6+, Firefox, Safari
3) Flash player version 9 or 10 installed
4) Digital photos!
Easy steps to help you get started with your album
Create
your album project by choosing your album’s page size. You’ve got two choices: 12″×8″ or 12″×12″
Organise
when you create your album project you can also setup ‘categories’. Categories are like directories on your computer. It is a way you can have all pictures of your reception grouped together for instance.
You can create categories when you create your album project, when you upload photos. You may also edit your album project setup to add more categories.
Upload
Upload your photos! When you upload you can assign them a category.
Create pages
This is as simple as clicking on a page template. Selecting what photos you’d like to see by either viewing all photos, photos from a particular category, etc.
Drag and drop the photo on to the frame you’d like to place it in on the page.
Save the page. Create more!
Review your album
The album viewer will show you your album in album format.
